Park City Disc Golf at Veterans Park in Bridgeport
What is Disc Golf? A golf disc is thrown from a tee area to a target, which is the "hole." The hole can be one of a number of disc golf targets; the most common is an elevated metal basket. As a player progresses down the fairway, he or she must make each consecutive throw from the spot where the previous throw landed. Adventure Park
This park sits on 5 acres of woods behind the Discovery Museum and is referred to as the “aerial forest park” of CT. Zip lining is just a part of the park – there are obstacle courses, bridges, tight ropes, tunnels, you name it, all connected by cable, rope and wood to several platforms in the trees. It’s a true “ropes” park offering various challenges for all types of levels.
Soundwaters Monthly Beach Cleanup Our coastline is one of our most precious resources, and we must chip in to keep it pristine. SoundWaters is leading the charge but needs everyone’s help. We host seasonal clean-up days when we will provide you with gloves and bags to walk the public shoreline and pick up human debris. We weigh and catalog everything collected before disposing of it in the appropriate manner.

CT Audubon Society
Founded in 1898, the Connecticut Audubon Society operates nature facilities in Fairfield, Milford, Pomfret, Hampton, Sherman, and Old Lyme, and an EcoTravel office in Essex. Connecticut Audubon manages 21 wildlife sanctuaries encompassing more than 3,300 acres of open space in Connecticut, and educates over 100,000 children and adults annually. Connecticut Audubon is an independent organization, not affiliated with any national or governmental group.
Mini Golf in Norwalk Norwalk Cove Marina Mini Golf has provided Fairfield County with summertime entertainment for over 50 years. LongShore Ice Skating Want to learn something new? Need a fun outdoor activity this winter? Celebrating 25 years of community skating with the WPAL Rink, LongDHore Ice Skating Rink has begun for our instructional skating lesson at the Westport PAL Rink at Longshore. Lessons are available through Westport Parks and Recreation for children ages 3 – 15 and adults on various days and times. All instruction follows the United Figure Skating Learn to Skate Program. Compo Beach Walk Westport A 29 acre park with an extensive sand beach along the shore of Long Island Sound and borders the Saugatuck River, is a great spot for an autumn or winter walk. No parking stickers needed after October 1,2022.
